SUMMARY:Dig Tech Skills Expo - Mountain Creek SHS
DESCRIPTION:Aim: \n1. To familiarise Primary\, Secondary school and preservice primary teachers from across the SE QLD region as well as staff from Sunshine Coast Libraries with technologies and skills that may be used in the Digital Technologies course. \n2. To provide opportunities for extension for those who have completed the introductory sessions previously. \nA range of workshops will be run throughout the day and delivered by practising Sunshine Coast teachers from both Primary and Secondary schools\, unless otherwise indicated. The workshops run over 3 sessions of 90 mins each. \nNOTE: Some workshops are offered on more than one occasion to assist with flexibility of selections. \nThe workshops on offer include the list below. \n\nBook Creator\nScratch\nScratch Junior\nRobotics\nPotential of ChatGPT\nArtificial Intelligence\nMinecraft\nMicrobits\nDigital Solutions (Years 11-12) – Web option\nMany other workshops…\n\n (Tickets are strictly limited) \nSession times are from 8.00am-1.30pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. \nThese professional development activities are funded via a grant provided by Google.
