DESCRIPTION:Ever wondered the maths behind how a pandemic spreads? Or the environmental impact of getting a lift to school? Or do you want to find out the link between climate change and your WhatsApp messages? \nPut your analytic brains to the test\, working in small groups students have 3 real world mathematics challenges to choose and work through. Celebrating mathematics and the spirit of competition\, this event aims to help high school students develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. \nIn 2023 the MindSET-do Maths Modelling Challenge will be both in person at the UniSC Sunshine Coast campus and online. \nOnline Registrations will Open on the 17th of July 2023 \nSunshine Coast Face-to-Face event will run in August (Date TBC) – if your school is interested in attending please email mindset-doevents@usc.edu.au
