DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the MindSET-do Rural Tour initiative is to: \n• Provide students in schools in rural locations with the same in-class experiences as those in urban areas.\n• Provide pre-service teachers with the opportunity to participate in a 4-day experience in a regional/rural location in Queensland to deliver Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Maths (STEM) curriculum in schools.\n• Assist the career development and employment options for pre-service teachers.\n• Provide opportunities for pre-service teachers to gain further experience teaching STEM in the classroom whilst they are supported at university.
