DESCRIPTION:Want to develop your coding skills? Join us these school holidays for a one-day robotic workshop with mBot Rangers and SUMO robots. Hone your critical thinking skills\, using sensors and attachments\, to create interactions between your robot and the environment. \nNo previous experience necessary – all knowledge and skills will be taught on the day. \nIn this one-day beginner robotics workshop\, learn to code robots to perform stand-alone tasks. Get your critical thinking and problem solving skills into action and discover how you can use different sensors to create interactions between your robot and the environment. \nUsing the mBot Ranger\, code autonomous cars that avoid crashing into obstacles\, plus program a SUMO robot to compete in a SUMO match at the end of the day. \nThe mBot Ranger is an affordable and versatile robotic platform that includes a wide variety of sensors and attachments that can be configured in many ways to perform a multitude of tasks by easily coding it with Scratch. \n\nWhat to bring: Food is NOT included. Please pack healthy snacks\, a nut-free lunch and a water bottle \n\nPresenters: Expert presenters from Out of the Bots are presenting this workshop.
