Superstars of STEM

In collaboration with Science and Technology Australia

University of the Sunshine Coast: Wednesday August 17th 10am – Register now!

Superstars of STEM aims to smash society’s gender assumptions about scientists and increase the public visibility of women in STEM. Science and Technology Australia started Superstars of STEM to create a critical mass of celebrity Australian women who work as scientists and technologists – role models for young women and girls – and to work towards equal representation in the media of women and men working in all fields in STEM.

In 2022 our Superstars are on tour and coming to our Sunshine Coast campus. During this event students in Years 9 -12 will have the opportunity to hear from our QLD Superstars, hearing about their learning and career journeys as well as engage in a Q&A session.

This event will be held face to face and online. When registering your attendance please ensure you advise how you will be attending this event and the number of students/attendees.
