Serious Games



In this sequence of lessons, students will design and program a serious game in Scratch, to educate others about how living things depend on each other and the environment to survive.
Lesson one: Serious games (90 mins) – delivered by the classroom teacher
Lesson two: Game design (90 mins) – delivered by MIE School presenters
Lesson three: Creating digital assets (90 mins) – delivered by MIE School presenters
Lesson four: Game programming (90 mins) – delivered by MIE School presenters

The classroom teacher can choose to deliver the final 5 lessons which are focussed on meeting outcomes from the Design and Technologies curriculum.
