Q: Name of the program you are enrolled in at UniSC
Diploma in Primary Education (Graduate)
Q: Name of the town you went to primary school?
Overseas
Q: How would you describe yourself when you were in Primary school Years 4 – 6?
I was not very confident in maths and science, this is primary the reason why I joined MindSET-do. At primary school age I though I was not capable of getting good in maths but now I know it is all about mindset – you can do anything if you want. I wish I could tell myself that back when I was at school. Most of all I enjoyed arts at this age.
Q: Name of the town you went to high school?
Overseas
Q: Which were your favourite subjects in high school?
English, The Arts, Humanities and social sciences & Languages
Q: How would you describe yourself when you were in High school?
High school was busy, I started getting fond of languages, drawing and had no idea what I wanted to do when I grow up. Wish someone could give me advice then, show and explain what opportunities were available for career. I wish to be that person for young people who can help them understand the opportunities and give them confidence to consider fields they would not look into previously.
Why did you want to become a presenter?
Help students understand that mindset plays an important role and any task they pick. Widen their horizon of future career opportunities and just give confidence that they can do way more than they think.
What do you like about being a presenter?
Ability to help students, teach them something new and potentially positively impact their future career choices.
If you could offer students in primary school and high school one piece of advice, what would it be?
Don’t be scared to try something new, get out of your comfort zone and learn new skill, try something you haven’t done before and don’t be afraid to make a mistake.
“Get out of your comfort zone and learn new skill, try something you haven’t done before.”
