Community Robotics Clubs in 2024
A multi week program to prepare students to compete in robotics competitions.
Our Community Robotics Clubs are a multi week program to give students in Years 5, 6 or 7 the fundamentals of building and coding robots, to compete at RoboRave competition on the Sunshine Coast which is held over two days in July. In 2024, subject to funding and participant numbers, the Gympie and Fraser Coast Clubs will commence in Term 2 and continue into Term 3. A participant fee of $165 (including GST) will be payable to cover a small part of the actual costs involved to run a Club.
Expressions of Interest are open for the Gympie and Fraser Coast Clubs only in 2024 and these will be held on a weekday after school.
Due to funding constraints in 2024 we will be unable to hold Robotics Clubs on the Sunshine Coast or Moreton Bay.
Preference is given to students who do not have access to a robotics/coding club. All students who register need to commit to attending every week of the program.
