I just love the idea of being able to create something from nothing and see it complete a range of tasks you would never imagine it could.

Q: What is some of the typical work you do in this career?

Some of the work I do includes designing and 3D printing virtual objects and parts. I also teach kids workshops on making gadgets and robots.

Q: What do you love about your job?

I love being able to think of a fun contraption or a robot and having the skills to bring it to life. I also feel happy when something I helped create makes someone else’s day easier.

The mistakes and difficult problems in robotics are what makes a complete project worthwhile in the end. It’s up to you to power through, even when the task at hand seems impossible.
