Q: How would you describe yourself when you were in Primary school Years 4 – 6?
In primary years 4-6, I loved reading, enjoyed school and learning. I participated in music, choir, Writer’s club and playing hockey.

Q: Which were your favourite subjects in high school?
English, Health and PE, The Arts
Q: How would you describe yourself when you were in High school?
In high school years I enjoyed participating in music, performing arts, film and TV, and HPE. I played softball and roller skated most weekends. High school was a wonderful place of growth and developing my identity, and I met great teachers that helped shape that journey.
Why did you want to become a presenter?
I believe in all students receiving the opportunity to experience hands-on experiential learning with technology, and the intrinsic value of personal success, building self confidence and overcoming stereotypical ideas in STEM. As a pre-service teacher, I wanted to join the team to build my confidence and to develop valuable experiences in STEM for my future teaching career.
What do you like about being a presenter?
As with my above comments, I like contributing to STEM experiences in classrooms and also building student’s adaptable qualities of resilience and determination. I enjoy delivering the lessons the best way children can learn, I seek participation from students, and love being encouraging, responding, and seeing the positive outcomes of their learning and discovery.
If you could offer students in primary school and high school one piece of advice, what would it be?
Live and thrive in your educational environment – there is so much for you to enjoy! Learn and try things out and find what you love to do, for a fulfilling career journey where you do what you love.
