A fun 5-week introduction to ‘beginner’ coding for primary school students
Discover the MindSET-do Community Code Club, an engaging 5-week program that introduces coding to primary school students in years 3 to 6. Students will dive into Scratch and create games and animations while building essential digital literacy and soft skills like logic, creativity, and collaboration. Preparing for the future by empowering young minds to thrive in a changing world through the art of coding.
When: 5 weeks x 1 hour lessons – 4pm to 5pm – Tuesdays
Where: TBC suggestion is a local school
Who: Beginner Coding – Primary School Students (year 3, 4, 5, 6)
Dates: Tuesdays 17, 24, 31 October and 7, and 14 November

Preference is given to students who do not have access to a robotics/coding club. All students who register need to commit to attending every week of the program.

Mentoring Code Club Program
The Mentor Program will provide valuable learning experiences to assist with confidence in their coding and instruction abilities, and increase their confidence to support and guide aspiring coders. They will also develop important soft skills like communication, collaboration and critical thinking. There is no prerequisite for a high knowledge of coding, as this knowledge will be taught during the program. They will also participate using an online learning platform, receive a Code Club official T Shirt and a Certificate of Completion.
When: 6 weeks x 1 hour lessons – 4pm to 5pm – Tuesdays
Where: TBC
Who: High School Students
Dates: Tuesdays 17, 24, 31 October and 7, & 14 November
