In high school I enjoyed spending time with my friends, listening to music, going to discos, riding our bikes to the park and making bracelets. I played netball and cricket at school and I was on the debating team. My favourite subject was biology. I was really good at the subjects I liked and found the ones I didn’t like so much more challenging.

Why did you want to become a presenter?

To share my love of science with high school students and broaden their knowledge on possible careers after school.

What do you like about being a presenter?

Interacting with the students. I’m there to teach them but often I learn so much from them too. Young people have lots of great ideas and knowledge.

If you could offer students in primary school and high school one piece of advice, what would it be?

Always be curious and when you find a topic or subject that you enjoy, explore what careers are related to it. There could be a job out there that you don’t even know about!
