
Let’s take the time to clear up any misconceptions or misunderstandings, STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics but it is not just a subject at school. It is a way to integrate all of these learning areas in a realistic way to harness the transferable skills and solve real world challenges. It is not at all about being an expert in all of those subjects. STEM is a way of thinking and creating, and the skills we use in STEM are important for the next generation.
We know that many of the jobs of the future are yet to be invented and that our world is constantly changing and STEM skills will enable people to work together to solve some of the world’s greatest challenges.
